OBJECTIVES
The PPGC aims to prepare master’s and doctoral-level professionals in a cross-sectional perspective, crossing the managerial and financial dimensions. Its objectives are based on three pillars:
Professional qualification
a) promote the qualification of professors, researchers and accounting professionals;
b) provide opportunities for the systematization and analysis of professional accounting practice in a scientific perspective and with an interdisciplinary approach; and
c) provide the integration between accounting theory and practice.
International insertion
a) develop excellence teaching and research in the field of management and financial accounting in Latin America;
b) promote international insertion through teaching and research activities carried out by PPGC faculty and students; and
c) boost international extension actions, seeking to disseminate knowledge and build networks.
Collaboration
a) promote the generation of scientific and technological knowledge in the area;
b) enhance sectioning activities in higher education institutions; and
c) encourage partnership with other graduate programs
